I have been a caregiver for over 20 years. I have a son that just turned 19 that is autistic and epilepsy. My son graduates this week , it has not been easy but we made it through. My son is pretty well normal but he stutters with his speech sometimes and does not do well with changes to anything in his life. I wish when kids are born with any kind of disability they had an instruction book sent from Heaven. I do not regret my son by any means it's just hard as he gets older trying to explain to them they can't do certain things like drive etc.
