I'd describe my personality as encouraging, friendly, caring I like caring for seniors because I watched my parents struggle with care and being independent. It's so important for seniors to be able to stay in their familiar surroundings as long as possible and if I can help with that in anyway I want to. I lost my mom this past year and she needed more care than we could manage on our own. My siblings and I felt it was an honor to be able to care for her. My mother-in-law has had Alzheimer's for years and needs increased care as her condition declines. I started caring for seniors 5-6 years ago thru care. com. Took a little time off as my mom's needs increased and I had new grandkids needing care at the same time. In my spare time, I like to spend time with grandkids, read, visit friends.
