About Brenda

I'd describe my personality as friendly, respectful, compassionate. I like caring for seniors because they have traveled this road before us and are most deserving of our love, care, and respect. I love to hear the wisdom in their stories. I'm looking for a job that has open communication, independence, and the opportunity to engage with others. I started caring for seniors in 1977 as a high school student by volunteering at a long term care boarding facility back in Pennsylvania. After graduating from Nursing school I moved to California and practiced in the field for 40 more years. I retired early in 2020. In my spare time, I like to read, attend church services, volunteer at the food banks, and prepare fresh organic food for my family. I am a good listener, patient, and respectful to others. I believe I am best suited to provide warm gentle care to this very special but also fragile population.
