About Brandy

Hi, my name is Brandy, I am from Oregon, and I have worked with ages ranging from 0-7 years old (but have the most experience with infants and toddlers) throughout my eight years of experience! I am a previous Waldorf assistant teacher and daycare teacher. I absolutely love children and just had my first in March! I strive to be very intentional in my work, and to love and nurture your child as if they were my own. I am a big advocate for tons of outdoor time and unstructured free play. I love doing anything that boosts a child's creativity and imagination, and fostering a love of learning and ability to practice life skills. My main philosophy is based in Waldorf education, with a hint of Montessori. Currently, I am looking for part-time work (30 hours or less) with only one child, as I will also be caring for my own baby boy. My ideal family to work with would share values similar to mine, and would be willing to accommodate me needing to provide their child's care at my own home.
