I'd describe my personality as calm, flexible, and mature. I like caring for people with special needs because I grew up with a brother who has an intellectual disability. I'm looking for a job that can be flexible with hours. I am a student athlete balancing classes and intense training. I started caring for people with special needs when I was in high school. I have always been a part of my brother's programs but I really started getting involved when I became a volunteer for his special olympics basketball team. In my spare time, I like to swim. I've always been a swimmer and I currently swim for the University of Pittsburgh. One thing you should know about me is I am very understanding of all circumstances. Through volunteer work I bonded with kids from many different backgrounds and who had many different needs. My skills include communication, patience, and being comfortable working with others who have a variety different needs.
