About Braelyn

Hello! My name is Braelyn, but please feel free to call me Blaine! I am 19 years old and currently in my second year of college at Kent State University. This past summer, I worked full-time as an assistant-teacher for the YMCA's Summer Day Camp with the youngest explorers group (ages 5-7). During my time with the Y, I discovered a love for working with children. I enjoyed getting to know all of my kiddos and learning what methods of teaching and communication worked best with each of them. I'm currently working at Chipotle, but am hoping to branch out and get more experience with childcare before returning to the Y's Summer Camp. I would love to work with a family that practices open communication about their child/children's needs and challenges me to learn new skills regarding childcare.
