About Boothe

I have ample experience working with children. Since graduating from college, I've worked both as a day teacher and art instructor. Additionally, I have taught diverse student populations and volunteered at Best Buddies- an organization that helps uplift individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I feel committed and capable to creating a safe and accepting environment for all children I work with I think one of the most important things you can do as a teacher is listen to your students and take note of what interests/excites them. At Children's Community School we followed an emergent curriculum- we planned our lessons and units around what the students were interested in. I think this type of learning environment has informed how I teach and engage with children.
