Hi!! I'm a registered nurse of 25 years, and am semi retired. I have worked with a variety of age groups, but mostly the elderly. My specialized area of nursing is rehabilitation. I've worked with the following types of patients: Strokes Car accidents Hip / knee surgeries Spinal cord injuries Head injuries Those that need generalized strengthening Just to be clear, I'm not applying for nursing positions, rather just help in general care for your loved one. I will help administer their medications, if needed, but prefer to not provide general nursing care ( wound care, taking vital signs, head to toe assessments). I am able to assist with toileting, bathing, dressing, combing hair, brushing teeth/dentures, etc. I can assist with housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and running errands.
