About Bonnie

Hi my name is Bonnie, I am very compassionate, loving, patient, and reliable. I decided to get into senior care after taking care of my mother and my stepfather. I discovered my passion and decided to get my CNA and GNA. I completed both classes with flying colors. I truly believe that you should love your occupation and I can honestly say I do. I have always been a caretaker. I have been a nanny for the past 10 years and before that I taught at a daycare for 7 years. One of my favorite experiences when I was in CNA class was when we went to the nursing home and experienced Hands-On. I met a lady that had not spoken to anybody in almost a year and after sitting and talking to her and helping her eat her dinner she began to talk. She told me she chose not to talk to people until she met me. It was the best feeling in the world knowing that I was able brighten her world up. She's now up talking to everybody. I knew then that I wanted to work one on one as a home health aide.
