Hi parents! My name is Bonnie. I am a hardworking and compassionate nanny with over 10 years of professional childcare experience. I just moved to NY from Boston in August. My career is in theatrical costuming and I have a full time job, I am currently looking for extra part-time babysitting work on evenings and my days off (Sunday and Monday). I find my creative talents greatly enhance my work with children. I love to do arts and crafts projects and even offer age-appropriate sewing lessons to the kids in my care! I can help families with laundry and organization, in addition to always keeping the kitchen and play spaces tidy. The majority of my childcare work has been with infants and toddlers, but I still have lots of experience with older ages and can provide a range of references. Bonnie was recommended to us by friends after our daycare closed due to COVID and we needed to scramble for childcare. We immediately felt comfortable with her, as did our kids (aged almost 2 and 4 yrs old at the time). Bonnie is enthusiastic, thoughtful (she texted me on a day off to ask if I'd be okay with having her make play dough with our kids in our kitchen), endlessly creative, and was able to manage our kids with patience and calm even when they were at their very worst.
