I have training in Child Development and experience working with preschoolers in a variety of settings including three Seattle area Montessori schools. In my past experience, I owned and operated a full day Preschool for deaf children and their siblings in my home successfully for eight years. I cared for deaf and hearing toddlers through elementary school aged children. I have worked as an Educational Interpreter for decades in the Seattle area at every grade level from preschool through college. I am fluent in ASL, PSE and have been learning SEE for the past two years. I have worked with the Deaf/Blind community for years and have beginning level fluency in Pro-Tactile ASL and I am literate in grade one braille. I enjoy working with people of all ages. I am patient, kind and adventurous.

Bobbie has worked with our family for the past two years. She has been an incredible support and is worth her weight in gold! Bobbie is kind, gentle, patient and caring. She is always "teaching" and giving the kids opportunities to explore and learn. She is attentive to their social and emotional needs as well as the unique dynamic that we have in our family. Our 8 -year-old is deaf and uses sign language. She takes the time to teach sign to our younger kids as well as the neighbor children who come over to play. Bobbie has endless amounts of energy and keeps the kids active - playing games, art, baking cookies, reading books, parks, picnics, you name it, she does it all! Bobbie has also been very flexible with her schedule and has been able to accommodate us with little notice. I have never felt safer and more confident in the person that I leave my kids with. Even my son with special needs.
