I have been working on and off with special needs kids for around 8 years. I met my husband while we were both volunteering at the special Olympics and volunteer whenever we can! While stationed in Tucson, I was able to work as a respite and habilitation teacher with an autistic boy. I loved watching big him grow and learn and he taught me so much as well!
