I was the primary caregiver for my grandmother before she passed away in 2012 from cancer. My Grandmother was my support system, my confidante, and my very best friend. The last couple of years in her life were the greatest of mine because we were able to spend time really doing the things that she enjoyed - reading, taking walks, cooking together, etc. As her health started to deteriorate, it was important for me to be there for her as much as possible. Now that she is gone, I would like to be that same support system to another senior or elderly person in need.
