About Bianca

Senior care is not a foreign topic for me, I have much personal experience with it. My grandmother who was like a mother to me, was simply getting older and I moved in with her to help out with the daily activities that just became too much. Unfortunately the next year she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and I became her home health aide. I was in charge of making sure her meals were available, monitoring and administering her medications and hygiene and medical needs. I'm currently in school for nursing and am a few weeks away from completing my gerontology rotation and clinical placement. I believe it's very important to allow our seniors to remain as in control as they can be and keeping their sense of autonomy while aiding them in their daily activities.
