About Bianca

Hello! My name is Bianca , or Ms. Goody or Ms. B depending on which kids I'm serving. I've been teaching MS English for 5 years, along with overseeing the athletics program at my school for 3. Additionally, I've head coached our track team for 4 years. I also direct the children's and youth ministry at my church, which allows me to work with an array of ages and development levels. I have my MA in education that I received from UC Davis. Over the summer, my schedule slows down a bit, and I'd love to connect with local families and offer some extra support in reading and/or writing for our local kiddos! I know kids learn in different ways, and I truly believe in the power of relationship/rapport building with the kids/teens I work with. This allows me to create connections in material, all well as break up the monotony that sometimes curriculum can have. Providing a space where their interests and learning can co-exist, instead of being mutually exclusive.
