If your younger child cannot identify the alphabet, or your older child has difficulty reading, recognizing, or remembering sounds, your child may be struggling with a reading disorder. I am an Orton Gillingham Provider and a skilled reading teacher grades K-8. I am a certified Dyslexia Therapist and I do Reading intervention. My lessons include phonics, spelling, comprehension, grammar and writing. I am Wilson certified, but I use and own 5 Orton programs. I incorporate games and constant oral reading. I am very passionate about my craft!

Judy is my daughter's dyslexia tutor. I cannot say enough good things about her. My daughter has attention along with reading and retention issues, and Judy is the magic that I had been praying for. She's energetic, fun and has a very special energy around her that my daughter thrives on. To say that Judy goes out of her way to make learning and reading fun is an understatement. She always has a new trick up her sleeve to keep my daughter engaged and interested. We've been through other tutors and I can tell the difference with her approach - its conscientious and methodical although she masks it in fun and interesting games. She mixes different learning aspects into her lessons to add layers of other learning elements. Judy is dependable, communicative, motivating - plus a mix of something else that is hard to pinpoint in words. We are so blessed Judy has come into our lives. If your child needs tutoring don't delay in reaching out, you will not regret it!!
