About Betty

Hi my name is Betty, I began my Journey as a caregiver a little over 3 years ago after 10 years in a bad marriage that took everything from me. My ex secluded me from society, work and even took my driver's license. After we divorced an amazing kind family gave me a chance with no experience or recent work history and let me care for there 91-year-old mom with advanced Alzheimer's. This became the best choice of my new life. This is not only a profession, but a skill requiring compassion, complete patience, understanding, and a great deal of empathy. Sadly my sweet lady recently passed. I miss her wonderful smile everyday, and the memories we made in nearly 3 years will stay with me for the rest of my life. I feel I have more to give and will give the same dignity, respect, and love as I would my own family.
