About Betty

Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Betty. I have worked with infants, toddlers, preschool, and children from 5 months to 13 years old. My career with children started while I volunteered at Rock Creek Terrace Community center and served as a tutor (2 years). Then, while in college and after college, I began working with toddlers and children with autism (2 years). Currently, I serve at Union Church on their preschool team and have worked with kids here from infancy to elementary age (2 years). Likewise, I also currently work with preschool kids (age 3-5) who experienced trauma. Because I work with children, I am CPR certified. With the children, I have got to initiate learning, lead a classroom, engaged in free play with the children, and build rapport. I find joy in being a positive mentor in a child's life. I am so excited to meet your family and my hope in my time with you is to create a lasting impact through care, attention, ad fun! Can't wait to meet you!
