About Betsy

I am a 19-year-old from Bloomington, headed into my second year of college at Indiana University where I study Early Childhood Education. I have about two years of experience-I've worked at a preschool with kids 2-8 years of age. I've also done babysitting and volunteer work with kids ages 4-11. I'm a creative problem solver who loves using play-based learning to support children's growth. I believe in the power of nature play, helping kids explore and connect with the outdoors. Whether it's hands-on activities or nature walks, I focus on creating fun, interactive experiences that encourage learning and exploration. I am looking for children aged 2 or older (preferably under the age of 8 due to my experience with mainly younger kiddos) and can work with up to three kids! Any day of the week during the summer is great; however, weekends and/or week days M/W/F after 4 p.m. and T/TH after 6 STARTING August 25th will be my only availability!
