Hi, my name is Beth. Thank you so much for taking the time to see if I might be a good fit for you! Here is a little bit about me, I have 27 years of experience working in the medical field as an Occupational Therapist. I have worked with ages 15-100 and multiple diagnoses. I am looking to work with you or your loved one as a caregiver to improve quality of life by staying active and engaged in purposeful activities like self-care, meal preparation, household tasks, socialization and exercise. I am positive, trustworthy, organized, punctual and dedicated. I would love to talk with you to see if working together is a good fit.

Beth was with our family for the last two years helping care for my Mom with dementia. She was an invaluable part of our care team and I now consider her part of my family. We hired her on as someone to keep my mom company, perform fun activities and take her outdoors for walks, shopping trips and fun outings. At that time, my mother was completely mobile and was most struggling with memory and executive functioning. We also needed an advocate for her due to her difficult stomach issues and strict diet as the care facilities often did not follow her diet. The care Beth actually provided was so much more. She is trained as an OT and has direct experience with handling patients with dementia. The knowledge she shared along our journey helped us incredibly with understanding how to help my mom. My mom generally was pretty reserved but warmed up to Beth quickly as she has such a kind heart and friendly personality. Being a health care professional and understanding dementia she knew ways to redirect my mom and allow her the grace to still have independence in her activities. As my mother declined, Beth’s inner knowledge of the healthcare system helped us navigate hospital stays, rehab and ultimately hospice. As the job continue to change with my Mom’s declining health, Beth only became a stronger and stronger asset to our care team. She went outside of her job description to help my mom when unexpected events occurred such as an occasional accident. I have 100% faith in her, as she so strongly advocated for my Mom even in the hardest times for us as a family. You could not find a better caregiver than Beth, she was the best caregiver our family could have ever found. I am available to speak to anyone who would like additional information!
