I found my passion for "social services" in 2008 when I began providing part-time respite care to a girl with autism and have been in the field ever since. I continued providing respite until 2011 at which point I became a Direct Support Professional at an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) from 2011-2012. From 2012-2018 I worked dual roles, which consisted of Programmatic Supervision & Case Management, for adults with disabilities at a Vocational Day Services from 2012-2018 and at a Residential home 2018-2020. I have experience working with a multitude of individuals with different diagnoses, many dual-diagnosed (Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Bipolar, Intellectual Disabilities, ADHD, Fragile X Syndrome, etc.). I am a hard working, conscientious person with high ethical standards and have thoroughly enjoyed working with the individuals and families in the various DD service programs I've been employed at over the past 9 years.
