I have been working with children all of my life. I started at the age of 7 working with my mother in our church nursery, as well as helping teach classes at church. In High School, I worked as the Nursery Coordinator at our church. During my college years, I was a nanny for two different families. One family was a foster home (2-5 kids at a time), so the children ranged from 4 weeks to 15 years old. After college, I became a teacher for children with intellectual disabilities for 4 1/2 years. I love working with children. I think it is very important to instill in children young the love of reading, exploring their world, and being active.
