Hello there! My name is Bethany and I am a 26-year-old second grade teacher. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2018 (gig em')! As a second grade teacher, I currently teach all core subjects. However, I taught 7th and 8th grade science and served as a head girls athletics coach for 2 years before making the switch to elementary. Over the years, my classes have consisted of some general education students and some special education students. I have experience serving kids with Autism, Tourette's, Dyslexia, ADHD, Epilepsy, TBI, ED (emotional disturbance), depression, anxiety, speech or language impairments, hearing impairments, intellectual disabilities, and students with multiple disabilities. I also coached many of these students in girls athletics/P. E. and competitive volleyball, basketball, track, and swimming. I strongly believe that every child deserves love and an equal opportunity to receive a quality education, despite any potential barriers.
