I am a licensed special education teacher offering tutoring services for school age children from 3rd grade to 6th grade in the subjects of reading, writing, math, organization, social skills and coping skills. Safety has always been the core of my teaching philosophy. No matter how interesting, knowledgeable, pleasant or prepared an educator is, if the student does not feel safe physically, emotionally or socially then learning will be obstructed. I pride myself in being a structured professional who is also approachable with all students, staff and parents. I believe my job is to teach every child in a way which they can learn.
