I've spent the last 13 years as an educator in the public/private homeschool settings. I spent 8 years in the Forest Hills Public School setting in grades ranging from K-4th grade. Over the last 5 years I worked as a private homeschool educator for a family ranging from 2-5 students depending on the school year. They attended Northpointe Christian's hybrid school program. I was their private teacher two days a week and the rest of the week they attended the school. I worked with children as young as Pre K and as old as 8th grade in all subject areas. Unfortunately only had 1 tutoring session and then the rate was increased and we decided not to move forward which was very disappointing for my daughter. Details and expectations should have been made clear before our first session.
