About Bethany

Hello, my name is Bethany and I am married with two children of my own ages 20 and 17. I have worked with children for more than 20 years in different capacities from babies to 6th grade. I consider myself a kind, helpful and motivated person. I have taught Sunday school to kindergartners for 16 years, I have taught Vacation Bible School for 10 plus years for different ages from babies to 5th grade, I have taught preschool summer camps and I have been a volunteer cheerleading coach 10 to 12-year-old girls. I taught 3K preschool for 13 years at a church in Hoover. I enjoy working with children and watching them grow and learn. In addition to my childcare experience, I have a degree in Sports Fitness Management and am CPR/First Aid certified. I am currently a nanny to a little one that I have kept since he was 3 months old. An absolute blessing. My wife and I work in healthcare with sometimes inflexible schedules and we needed help looking after our son who was born in 2020. After searching and conducting many interviews, we were beginning to get anxious and unsure. As first time parents with little family nearby, we knew we needed someone we could trust fully. From the moment she entered our house for the interview, we knew Bethany was the one we had been looking for. She immediately put us at ease, and took to our son very quickly, and vice versa. Over the last 5 years she has become part of our family, caring for and teaching our son on a weekly basis. She is attentive, brings activities to play/learn with, flexible, and just overall better than we could've ever imagined. As our son transitions to Elementary school, we are so very sad to see her go, but take solace in the fact that she has helped prepare him for the jump. I have no doubt that she will remain a part of his life moving forward, in whatever capacity that may be. So, if you are like us and want the absolute best there is for your child, please look no further.
