About Bertina

I have always believed that caring for others is a service to one's self. I have always had the passion to be helpful to others, especially vulnerable people. As someone who lived with my grandmother most of my life, I have a compassion and special love towards the elder generation and want to be able to give back the love that I have received throughout my life to others. I am caring and empathetic and I always go by the golden rule of doing unto others what I would like them to do unto me. There were no elderly care facilities in Ghana where I immigrated from so upon coming to the US, I decided to chase my dreams and hopefully I make a difference in the world. I am an organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I am patient, empathetic and understanding. I have obtained a state caregiver certification and received experience in caregiving in my current job. I have experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds
