As someone who lived with my grandmother most of my life, I have a compassion and special love towards the elder generation and want to be able to give back the love that I have received throughout my life to others. There were no elderly care facilities in Ghana where I immigrated from so upon coming to the US, I decided to chase my dreams and hopefully I make a difference in the world. In general that is Bertina's nature. She is very empathetic to people despite her not going through the same circumstances as herself. This makes one of the best qualities of a care giver. Also she sis trained which is a huge plus as well.
