About Bertelle

Hi! I've been home raising my boys for numerous years and I'm ready to do some part-time work during school hours to save for vacations. In my previous career world, I worked as a recreation therapist. I have experience working with adults and children with physical, psychological and cognitive deficits. My previous professional positions were on a spinal cord injury unit at a Veterans Hospital, Therapeutic Recreation department for a city, and a state psychiatric hospital. I also have worked various odd jobs and volunteered at different capacities over the years to keep busy. In addition, I also really enjoy infants and toddlers. Watching them learn, explore and experience life is so fun. I love reading to young children, and using music, crafts and play to learn. Now that my own boys are 11 & 15, it would be fun to help support a family just starting out with a little one. My personal hobbies are spending time with family, gardening, home repair/DIY projects, crafts, and board games.
