About Beontae

Ever since I was in the 1st grade, my dream career was to become a veterinarian. Then I went the route of wanting to help not only animals but people. I am a graduate of Columbia College !! Go Koalas. I am also attending the graduate program in the fall of 2023. My first pet was a stray cat that I saved who was living on the street. From that moment, it was like a hobby that I've had rescuing animals and providing a shelter to those animals in need. My mother always reminds me of the time in first grade when I wrote on a colorful wall post that I wanted to become a veterinarian and she actually kept it on her room wall to motivate me throughout my early years of school. In all, helping animals is my passion, and I believe doing these jobs will give me more experience and insight into the different breeds of dogs and cats. These jobs will also inform me how different breeds interact with humans and other animals.
