Having been involved in an organization for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, I found my passion for helping and befriending people with special needs. A parent of a student with special needs contacted me to hangout with their son for multiple days within the summer. In doing this, the parent was able to have free time to do housework, errands, and other activities. Furthermore, parents of a friend of mine through Best Buddies asked me to become a life coach for their son that is of the IDD populations. I've been a life coach for their son for the past year and counting.
