About Benjoe

I'm a middle school math teacher teaching 8th grade at Craven County Public School. I was the teacher of the year 2024 in my previous school, Wayne County Public School. I got the Educational Partners International Teacher of the Year 2024 in North Carolina. I've been teaching middle school math teacher for more than 23 years. I'd describe my personality as flexible, compassionate, and committed to any assigned work. I like tutoring because I can share some strategies for struggling math students, and build a stronger foundation to take on the challenge of learning math. I'm seeking a job that fits my schedule and aligns with my teaching career. I started tutoring since I was studying in my university 24 years ago either online or face-to face. In my spare time, I like to jog or walk, ride my bicycle around downtown or in my neighborhood. One thing you should know about me is I have a passion for teaching. My skills include having a positive attitude, patience and empathy.
