I have taught a wide range of ages from Head Start to Adults. I have experience with substitute teaching multiple grades. My biggest tutoring strengths are in Reading, Writing, Basic Math (up to Algebra level), and Social Studies. I have taught GED classes so I have knowledge in teaching High School equivalent learning. I have an MA in Educational Psychology from Ball State University. With my degree I learned how people learn and what that means for traditional classrooms and teaching strategies. I have a lot of patience with learners, and have experience teaching special needs learners as well.
