I am a 24-year-old currently attending Grand Valley State University. Before starting nursing school, I worked at my apartment complex as a leasing agent and as an assistant teacher in the 3-year-old room at Appletree. I have also worked in D. A Blodgett St. John's and provided home care for children with mental and physical disabilities. I have had experience with taking care of children 9 years and younger including infants, but I enjoy babysitting kids of all ages. While in nursing school(I graduate in December 2019), I have had clinical at Helen Devos Children's hospital, the PICU, Pine Rest psychiatric care for children and adolescents, and on the labor and delivery floor at Holland Hospital. I'm an animal lover, in fact, I adopted a loving kitten who is now 3 years old. I love caring for kids and that's why I'm studying to be a pediatric/neonatal nurse. I drive a 2011 Mitsubishi Galant, and I've had my CPR certification for 5 years.
