About Beckie

As a career nanny, I've been fortunate to work with many amazing families, giving me a wide variety of experience. From providing primary care for the youngest members (2mos) to supplemental support for older siblings (16yrs), from diapers and lullabies to homework and graduations, from dogs and cats to backyard chickens, I've enjoyed it all! But, early childhood development is my passion. Being attuned to a young child's view and fostering their natural curiosity is a pleasure. I believe in neighborhood walks and utilizing community parks, libraries, and beaches, if available. At home, there should always be reading, music and movement, art, building blocks, and pretend play. With love, patience, and a sense of humor, I have helped children develop positive self-esteem, empathy for others, and self-reliance. By respecting each child's uniqueness and attentively meeting their needs, I've had happy, loving, and emotionally secure children. And a lot of fun along the way!

Beckie is a Godsend. She started caring for my 11 month old son 5 months ago and has been through his many changes ( tough to put down, separation anxiety, learning how to eat, teething , all the super fun stuff ) and handled it all so well! Her experience is evident, along with exuding extreme care, reliability , flexibility, strength, tidiness, and ability to create fun and engaging experiences, I can’t say enough good things about her. We trust her completely and our son loves her. She teaches him all sorts of things, plays with him on the floor, carries him when he wants to be held for an impressive amount of time, and is great at getting him down for sleep. We will forever appreciate our Beckie!
