About Bea

Hello! I am Bea and I am a student at NAU studying biomedical sciences. I have worked as a swim instructor, behavioral therapist, and have 5 years of childcare experience as both a nanny and babysitter. I have specialized experience working with children with special needs, specifically Autism, Down syndrome & Junior Rheumatoid Arthritis of all levels and love to provide engaging activities where their strengths can shine. I am very active with lots of energy to keep up with little ones and love the outdoors and animals. I have both clinical and in-home experience working with both neurotypical & neurodivergent children of all ages. I am comfortable giving medications up to and including injections with proper direction and supervision the first few times. I am trained in elements of speech and food therapy and am confident encouraging your child to explore food and communication in ways they find fun and engaging that are effective in increasing their exploration of the world.
