About Baylie

1. I love kids and have lots of experience caring for them. I have been babysitting professionally since I was 12, but nannying has been my full-time job since graduating from university. 2. I love to read, craft, and spend time outside. One of my favorite parts of nannying is getting to encourage children to nurture their creativity and imagination. 3. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor's degree in Rhetoric. During my college experience, I took several classes that covered child development and language acquisition, so I am knowledgeable about the appropriate milestones; I tend to follow the best practices laid out by speech language pathologists when interacting with children. 4. I'd like to think I have a sense of humor and can get on the kids' level, wherever they're at. I believe in treating children with the same sort of respect we give adults, and allowing them independence and agency while helping to keep them safe
