I started homeschooling as a nanny through Care a few years ago. Honestly, before that, I thought parents homeschooling their kids was a bit weird. I soon found out that it is amazing! I also saw that the kids were WAY ahead of the kids in public schools. Then, last year, circumstances made it that I needed to homeschool my daughter. She was in 4th grade. I thought she was behind in math and only taught her the end of the year. Her state testing this year found she was ahead in every subject! I was shocked. I love getting to choose her curriculum and the extra time with her. That being said, I have lots of extra time and feel I can help other kids too. I have an Associates of Arts degree from South Seattle Community College and a Bachelors of Science from Georgia State. I teach all subjects including Bible study and manners. ;-)
