We spoke to Baylee for about 4 days. Baylee knew we were letting go of our current nanny and was very excited to work with Baylee moving forward. We sent our address to her in advance to discuss distance and talked about why it's so important that she is committed and did everything to make sure she was comfortable with the job. The morning she was supposed to start on a very busy day for me (I work from home with back-to-back meetings) she texted me at 8:30 am saying she couldn't make it because I was too far. I'm sure she is a nice girl but that really hurt me for a few days. She had convinced me she wanted this job and she had looked at the distance and she was very excited. I don't normally say things about this one was just very irresponsible on her end and I want to make sure if you do hire her, please make sure expectations are very clear.
