About Basira

My name is Basira and I am a student at UC Davis majoring in Managerial Economics and Business. My experience working with children mainly stems from growing up with my 6 siblings. I am the middle child and my younger siblings are currently aged 1, 8, and 16. Being fortunate enough to have siblings of all ages, I have learned to care for a child of any age and grew to love being around them. Growing up in such a big family has taught me the value of bonds and relationships. Likewise, I have experience babysitting and tutoring kids not related to me throughout the years. I have also worked for In-Home Support Services for over a year to care for individuals with disabilities. My duties included preparing meals, completing housework such as laundry and cleaning, providing transportation, etc. I have also had pets of my own and would love to care for pets as well. Not only do I love caring for kids and working with families, but I also understand the responsibilities required.
