About Basia

A little bit about me is I love working with kids and have truly been around and caring for children my whole life. I grew up in Texas and live in Boston where I just graduated from Emerson College. I grew up babysitting my siblings who are seven and nine years younger than me. I also worked as a cheerleading and dance coach for children ages 2-15 years my senior year of high school. I have experience with all ages, including infants, and find caring for children to be such an enriching way to spend my time. I am a very supportive caretaker and encourage kids to be themselves through creative expression. I am 21 years old and my hobbies and values revolve around nature-oriented activities, writing, and physical activity, so I love to take kids outside! I am punctual, responsible, trustworthy, and positive. I am very flexible and honor the trust and rules different to each family.

We hired Basia for a short term babysitter/nanny position before we moved out of state. She was an amazing babysitter to my 1.5 year old. My toddler had recently developed a lot of separation anxiety but her calm and gentle nature helped make him comfortable right away. She was always extremely attentive and energetic with him. I never saw her on her phone. My son loves to be outside and even though it was 100 degrees outside she would take him out in the backyard to play, look at flowers, and blow bubbles. I think caring for children is truly a talent and calling of hers. She's sweet, prompt, and polite and I'd recommend her in a heartbeat!
