As a caregiver, I had a truly valuable experience that taught me a great deal about patience, empathy, and the importance of providing quality care. I became first aid trained, which gave me confidence in handling emergencies and ensuring the safety and well-being of those I cared for. One of the most rewarding aspects was working with individuals who had dementia.
