I am 50 years old and have been caring for kids, adolescents and adults with special needs for 20 years. Starting from a camp counselor for kids with special needs when I was 16, I then got my Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Penn State University. I have worked professionally for the past 20 years, serving disabilities including but not limited to: Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADD, ADHD, Tourette's, Seizure Disorders, Mood Disorders, Schizophrenia and mental retardation, just to name a few. I also have extensive experience working with people with physical disabilities such as MS, CP and others.
