I am a mature person in my late 60's who is looking to be a caregiver for an elderly person. From March to October I worked for a 87 yr old lady in New Providence. Before that I was working for a 90-year-old lady in Gillette for a year who needed a caregiver after she had a fall and broke her hip. The family has decided they need more help so they hired another woman to take care of her with longer hours then I could give them. I will greatly miss her. Before that I was working for an elderly lady in New Vernon for over 4 Year's in the morning who was in her late 80s. They needed more help in afternoons and I was not available at that time I also lived with my cousin for 2 years to help her out she had Parkinson's disease. I would run errands with her, take to doctor appointments, food shopping, laundry, house cleaning and prepare meals. I also had a mom who just passed away who had Dementia. I was her caregiver before she went to a Nursing Home.

Barbara has worked for my parents and I for the past 3 years as a senior care giver. Her hours have been 5 days per week for the morning hours. Her responsibilities have included household tasks and errands. She is a careful driver. She has been very warm and caring with my elderly parents. My parents are going away and will miss her.
