Barbara was my dad’s caretaker for several years. She was a trusted, loving companion who managed his care and advocated for him, not only took care of his physical needs which were many and increased as he became more infirm, but also helped him pass the time and keep him company by playing board games with him, taking him for walks, facilitated phone calls and FaceTime with family and friends, took him to doctor appointments, and chatted with him. Barbara also communicated with family members very thoughtfully and was also always available. She has her own car which was very helpful for taking my dad to doctor appointments, physical therapy, and taking him grocery shopping. She made nutritious shows when grocery shopping and always tidied up. Barbara also helped my dad make the transition from home to assisted living. I highly recommend Barbara if you are looking for a reliable, kind, and hard-working caretaker. She soon became like a valued member of the family.
