About Barbara

I've always had a passion for helping children learn and grow. My love of caregiving comes from my positive experiences as a registered nurse, babysitter and my desire to make a difference in children's lives. As a patient, calm, creative, and friendly caregiver, I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred communication method to ensure we're on the same page about their child's well-being. When it comes to household rules, I'm very comfortable enforcing them while still being understanding and patient. As a skilled swimmer, I'm excited to teach children how to swim safely and confidently. I'm also comfortable caring for one child at a time and am happy to help with swimming supervision. As a nurse, I have CPR, BLS & ACLS certifications. I hope to bring joy and positive experiences to the children I care for.
