My background is in Early Childhood Education. I had a home day care for eight years. From 2007-2014 I worked as an Early Childhood Educator at The Family Center in Fort Collins. I have completed ECE 111 and I have had Touch Point training and Pyramid training. I have also attended Early Head Start Boot camp. I have lived in Fort Collins for 34 years. My husband and I raised our four children here and we now have six grandchildren. I have self published three children's picture books, I am an equestrian, and I love and enjoy the mountains and the Poudre River. I love children and have been working with them since I was in high school. I love their innocence and watching them explore and develop. I home schooled my two sons for 14 years. I have a plethora of learning and play ideas. I was a nanny for a little girl September 2014 to June 2016. I was a nanny for another little girl from June 2016 to June 2017. From 2017 to present I have been a nanny for two families.

Barbara has been a fantastic nanny to our daughter (5 months-2 years) throughout our time together. She continuously strives to give a loving, active, safe and enriching experience for our daughter. She has been very flexible with changes in schedule and always dependable. Barbara has developed a good understanding of our daughter and is willing to make all necessary adjustments to fit your child's individual needs. The only reason we are moving on is because our daughter is starting preschool to gain social skills. We will ensure that our daughter continues to have a relationship with her beloved nanny. I strongly recommend Barbara without hesitation to provide care for any child.
