The majority of my college credits were earned in a Special Education program with a specialization in Early Childhood Resource Teaching. After successfully homeschooling my five children I completed my bachelor's degree in Management and Human Relations. I've worked in group homes with developmentally disabled adults, once as a Residence Director, and as a Behavioral Health Counselor on a home-based team with both children and adults, some with learning disabilities. I have experience working with many different learning styles and curriculum. I'm comfortable working with people of all ages and a wide range of needs. I'm passionate about the fact that everyone has tremendous potential. Children and adults with "special needs" are no exception. The challenges they face may be greater than others, but so are the rewards.
