Hello! I work both in childcare, as well as senior care (my senior care resume is under senior care tab). My recent experiences in child care include working for a year for a lovely Philly family with two girls under 4, as a nanny and a house manager. I have combined seven years of experience. I have looked after children aged two months and over, up to three children at a time. I find helping families both fulfilling and enjoyable. I am familiar with most housekeeping arts, including cooking. I also have experience as a teacher (ESL). I believe in exposing children as early as parents allow to music, books, languages and sports (including swimming). I am therefore happy to organize trips for your little ones to local libraries, book stores, music and gym centers. I offer dependability/maturity. I am an energetic organizer and a planner, so minimum supervision is required. My skills allow me to create a safe and nurturing environment for your little ones, ensuring your peace of mind.

Barbara was incredibly professional, reliable, adaptable and kind. Our daughters love her! She took initiative, had no trouble at all dealing with the inevitable curveballs that arise in a house with young kids, and planned many activities for our older daughter. She was also willing to help with household chores and cooking, which was a tremendous help. It helped that Barbara was an amazing cook, but more importantly, she was a smart, creative, and dynamic person and we were lucky to have her be a part of our household!
