About Barbara

As a natural caregiver with over three years of experience, I am passionate about supporting families and providing reliable childcare. My calm and friendly nature allows me to easily connect with children and create a nurturing environment for their growth. I believe in open communication with parents and provide daily verbal updates during pickup to discuss their child's day and any issues that may have arisen. I am comfortable enforcing household rules while still maintaining a positive and nurturing environment for the children in my care. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and other age-appropriate games with children, fostering their cognitive development and social skills. With some college coursework in early child development, I am knowledgeable about the importance of play and various methods to promote a child's holistic development. I am comfortable caring for one child at a time and have experience with age groups ranging from infants to preteens.
