I have extensive experience caring for large families, twins, and children with special needs. I am the eldest of seven children and started babysitting for my younger siblings, three of whom are low-functioning autistic, seven years ago. Outside of my family, I have cared for children ranging from 4 months to 14 years of age as well as dogs, cats, birds, fish, and a rabbit. I love animals and am happy to help care for and play with your pets as well as your children. The disabilities of the children I've cared for vary, but I consider autism to be my specialty. I am experienced with preparing special meals for picky eaters, administering medication, and helping children bathe, brush their teeth, and dress themselves, but I am open to learning new skills to care for your child. I also understand the need to be clear and straightforward with a literal-minded child. I have the patience to listen to children talk about their interests for hours on end and help them with their homework.
